I'm Pakistani but was born in Bridgeport, CT USA. Growing up,we as a family with my parents we used to frequent the New York City area (Jackson Heights, Manhatten, etc) and Denver, CO resteraunts for some Pakistani food. Now that I have my own family, I've noticed over the last many years that the quality of the food at these places have gone down (and i've been to a lot). Also, the atmosphere of the resteraunts are pretty poor to say the least. I started taking my family to Afghani resteraunts because of the better atmosphere and presentation of food. Why don't Pakistani resteraunts improve the freshness, presentation and atmosphere of their resteraunts?

Salam Ali Koom....brother...good food always made in Dhaba....expensive restaurants just charge you a lot of money for rice and chicken, which is very inexpensive in USA. Chinese restaurants gives free white rice (rice is cheap) - while Indian and Pakistanis charges lot of money. So, dont worry about decor, eat and enjoy good food. And tell those ignorants to call me 1-800-eat-****.

By the way I am not a muslim. I am a Cacasian - born and brought up in USA....
