You need 200-250 pounds, depending on how meaty they are (or aren't).

Assuming that half of spareribs are bone, and most people eat about half a pound of meat, I would say about 200 pounds. However, you might want to get a little more depending on what else you are serving.

You need about 250 pounds. You'll have some people who won't eat a full pound; you'll have people who will eat more than a pound, but you will definitely want to have enough to not run out, even if you have -- God forbid -- leftovers of delicious spareribs for the next day's lunch.

Lord have mercy! That's a lot of people to feed. Considering the price of the meat, it will cost you a lot of money. How about chicken? It's cheaper....
