How is splenda bad for you? You would have to use appox. 160 packets a day for any bad affects to show up and that would take about 10-15 years from now so at 62 you can lighten up abit.
None of my dialysis diet lists forbids splenda. I use it in my tea, & kool-aid sure I can't drink to much but thats with any liquids
don't worry about the splenda, if he/she has kidney "failure" than water is better any way I just hate the taste of it. If its just problems with the kidneys, cranberrys are very good all cleaning out the kidneys but again with water.
Stay away from the black sodas and strong tea or coffee.

use this natural product: Stevia . is from the plant called stevia which is 300 times sweeter than sugar. no kidding and no sugar spike; use with liquids; cooking; baking; treats; coffee; herb teas; etc. been using it for about 6 years. also read these books for yourself and your friend: Detoxify or Die; PH Miracle
i was dying 3 months ago from diabetic complications; i was so toxic that my body started dying. was over a 2 year period culminating with death about 24 to 48 hours away. choose to live without degenarative disease by eating live foods.. i am not only alive but i built a rock garden. My doctors relative and friends are in shock...i am not only alive but tanned, healthy looking (still recovering though); non-toxic; disease free...no diabeties anymore...had to go off insulin because i don't need it anymore. no junk food of any kind, no breads except for yeast; dairy' sugar free tiny piece of hi grains ie kamut; spelt; etc. per day. Blood sugar is balanced doesn't spike nor dive any more. Specialist still in shock...she had never seen anyone in her career get rid of diabeties. However, if i should return to old habits the condition of diabeties will also return too so eating properly is a way of life....literally...do not wait until you are almost dead like i did...only good genes and a good Holistic doctor got me through this one...good luck

Always check with his doctor! As a diabetic I use splenda in my baking, and have not noticed a problem, but you should always check to see how many grams of carbohydrates he is eating. Just remember in moderation.

I would consider the information from the diabetic's doctor in terms of what he/she can use for sugar substitute. Unless there are other compliations, I have not heard that Spenda was bad for diabetics. Consult the doctor. I
