I've already gone to 3 different doctors at my clinic, I keep getting cold sores every few months, and they always say something with a reason saying why they wont test me for herpes (HSV -1)

Either, I need to have a sore
Its not necessary
or not to worry about it because "everyone" has it, and I should only worry if its on my dick.

So, questions comments difficulties? This isn’t normal is it…

There telling you it isn't a big deal because about 85% of the population has it. The only time you would need to be cautious is if you have a cold sore and go down on a girl who doesn't have it orally. Which would be pretty rare but in that case she could get in genitally. Just by some abreva the next time you have one that should clear it up fast.

you may want to call planned parenthood - at one time they did primary care - so they may still treat men - at least you could ask them , just a thought - i don't know if what you have is normal but it seems if you are concerned a doctor should take you seriously
