I told my partner about the STD so he could get treated. He didn't get treated right away, and we didn't have sex again until he said he had been treated...Once we did begin having sex again, we always used condoms (that never broke) the whole duration of sex. I had even got tested again after the meds to make sure the chlamydia was gone and the tests came back negative. Now, I went and got tested again and I tested positive for chlamydia. I don't understand how this is possible considering I have not slept with anyone else and even if the guy I was sleeping with did have sex with an infected person, we still used condoms...Any suggestions on how it's possible that I may have contracted this again?
I have read that it is usually transmitted thru regular intercourse and sometimes oral or anal, but I didn't do any of that except for the oral part, but that was after he supposedly got treated.

Girl, he lied or did he, if you retested and was neg, next time make him show meds and make sure during sex he does not take off the coverup. That could be what happened. Or you could ask your doctor for enough meds for the both of you, my doctor use to do so for me. This way you can give him one a day like a child. And look in between humps to make sure the condom is still in place (smile) it will be ok.

OK he did not get treated to start or he has been with someone else that has it and got it again. It can be passed through oral sex so if he has gone down on you, you could of been reinfected that way. Be careful. I get tested several times a year since I had chlamydia, I have only had it once and don't want it again. but once you have had it you are more likely to get it again.
