You could do a 50s beach party theme, but I'd have more fun at a 60s hippie theme. The fun ideas to go with that are endless, but the Grateful Dead and Jimi Hendrix are a great place to start any party.

I'm 14, and I went to an 80's themed party. It was cool because we all had to dress like people from the 80's (Like band member and stuuf like that.), and we actually looked really cool. I dressed like Debbie Harry from Blondie. The party had a DJ and we danced and sang to 80's songs. I didn't know how fun it would be at first, but it was great.

PARROTHEAD PARTY - A Jimmy Buffett Themed party is the BEST!!!! Margaritas, Cheeseburgers and plenty of Land Sharks Dancing to Buffett Tunes! Regarding a weather forecast, where do you live?

With Pirates of the Caribbean being popular right now, how about a pirate themed barbeque? Even adults would enjoy that. They could wear eye patches and you can make pirate hats from newspaper. As to the weather, it depends on where you live.

I started to just answer this without looking at any other responses...but I noticed Rosie1952's answer and basically mine would be the same suggestion. I've always had fun at parties that had pirate themes...just have one and you'll see what I mean!

Depends on your guest list. For a laid back evening, nothing beats a good ol' southern BBQ. For a little more refined or reserved crowd, try a New England Clam bake on the beach!

A mascarade party because you get to dance and flirt with everyone at the party and know one would know who you were unless you took your mask off.Just think of all the different costumes you can choose from .My favorite costume would be a woman dressed in latex from head to toe.

Toga -- I went to one and they had a belly dancer with a snake. We had soooooooo much fun -- some even came in flowered sheets since they did not own white ones.
