It is so refreshing to see a question show concern for someone else.

I have to consider whether he used his medication or not, whether it failed, etc.

A back and chest rub is a good idea, not using palms, but pushing fingers into his rib areas, front and back. ( Make sure your nails are trimmed short before you do this) . This is because those muscles, involved in breathing, have been stressed severely and are very tense and exhausted.

A tall glass of fresh water is helpful. So is a neck rub, grabbing and squeezing the sides of his neck. Then he needs rest. He might fall asleep easily, as if he just had an epileptic. seizure.

He needs to pant like a dog, rather than trying to take in deep breaths. Asthma is often an attempt to inhale too much, and to exhale too little. Like a panic attack.

Just make him rest, bring him cups of tea mollycoddle him, and be very understanding. An attack like that would have really frightened him, i have asthma and after an attack i feel very tired and low because you really do feel like your going to die. Make sure he is followed up afterwards, my asthma nurse goes through everything with me to work out what caused the attack and what we can do to try preventing it happening again, is his medication up to date as your asthma medication needs can change. Does he know his allergies? they can play a large part in triggering an attack, mine are red wine, anti inflammatory pills, dust, pollen, mould spores. Some natural remedies are bad for asthma too things like st Johns wort and sleeping pills. I am sure this has all been checked out but just some ideas, I hope he is ok xx

My brother is an asthmatic and after ten years his asthma has shown no sign of improving. He has been to several doctors but they didn't help much.

If you want a proven, all-natural way to cure your asthma, without having to pay for useless medications with harmful side-effects, then this is the most important page you'll ever read.

The best way to get back your ex is https://tr.im/nxDQV

Here's the hard part: Pretend she never existed, like it was all a dream, don't call her, that will make you the smaller person, be the bigger person since you deserve better, what she did to you on Valentines Day was immature, especially after dating for four years. This person wasted allot of your time and through it out the window. Go out tonight, even it it is only yourself, don't drink and call or feel sorry for yourself, this will only cause you embarrassment! I know your hurting..This will eventually will go away in time. Today is not a good day for you and your emotions are spinning all over the place.

Please, whatever you do, don't answer her calls and don't call her. If she keeps calling, which she pro bally won't, don't return her call for 5 days. Make her sweat and DO Not get back together right away if you discuss this in 5 days. Tell her since she Broke up with you, you have done allot of thinking, and had the taste of "being single again" and you would like more time being "friends" for now, so you are sure you are making the right decision. Remember "She decided she didn't want to be with you" so the door is open for you to get out and see what you have been missing for four years. You honestly need to do this for yourself.

She doesn't know, but what she did was give you the best valentines day present you will ever get! A new start and a new beginning, use it to your advantage. You will look back on this and Thank God this happened now instead of 4 more wasted years of YOUR life. Today does suck, stay Strong and I promise you your life is going to be so much more exciting and you are going to be happy. If you continue to call and call her, she will think of you as needy and won't want you. She is going to rethink what she did to you today and will be hurt, if you act like you could care less. Girls always want the ones they can't have. That is who you are now to her. Let her suffer, realizing what a mistake she made. This will drive her crazy. Right now she is on cloud 9 thinking you will take her back, OH, is she stupid!

Your life isn't ruined, hers is..She lost someone special, and gave you a gift to let to live life and find someone you deserve. You are not getting back at her, your teaching her what an idiot she is and what she lost and what you gained without her. SO when You eventually talk to her, tell her thank you for what she did...
She will be hurt and you will be happy!

always ask him to bring his albuterol inhaler with him, so when he has an asthma attack, he can take it anytime. never leave home without it. his bed sheets need to be washed more often. my sister has asthma and i suggested that she takes a shower at night before sleeping, so that whatever allergens are all over her body are washed off and not brought to bed. and it helped her, she didn't have asthma as frequently at night.

if in case your boyfriend does not improve using the inhaler and is in severe respiratory distress -- bring him to the ER.

if your boyfriend feels like the inhaler is not as effective but not really in severe distress, he needs to speak to a doctor who can prescribe him some medications (like corticosteroids - if necessary) and therapy so that he can manage his asthma better.

if you are the one with the asthma you shouldn't look after anyone after the attack but if he is the one with asthma i commend your dedication to him. Truthfully after I've had an asthma attack i just want to be left alone to sleep and rest, but it always helps when someone is willing to bring me hot drinks and liquids.

i would not try and look after anyone if i had an asthma attack....

oh you mean your boyfriend. Give him somewhere quiet and cool to lie down and let him get some peace and quiet. make his medication readily available for him. dont try and make him speak by asking him if hes ok, it will frustrate him,.
