go see your dr.! my g/f was getting sick nearly every morning, turns out she has a complication of type II diatbetis which cause the main nerve in her stomach to malfunction causing her stomach to stop digesting food properly.

Yes.

I am very hyperglycemic in the morning and rather ketonic also. It is called the "dawn phenomena."

Medicine doesn't fully understand it, but it is believed that through the night the liver released glucose to prevent blood sugars from dropping to low since there is no food consumption for a blocked out amount of hours. This physiological reaction occurs in all people not just diabetics however, if you are diabetic (especially insulin dependent) obviously the body cannot break down the glucose and since there is no insulin injections happening through the night the diabetic becomes ketonic and it just turns into a lovely DKA cycle...

So anyway, that is what medicine speculates is causing that in some diabetics but it isn't a proven thing as of yet.

I personally believe it to be true since I experience that often. I wake up nauseous ( which is horrific), and I can usually taste and smell the ketones, and even though I just had been sleeping I feel exhausted, my muscles are tense and I have to piss like a race horse.

My aunt does.. she sometimes doesnt eat breakfast because she fears it will bring on morning sickeness.

yes I do I think it comes from my sugar being low in the am
