July 29, is my Hubby's birthday & its going to be a surprise for him. There will be only 9 - 10 people for celebration. suggest me some good indian desert for the occassion which is simple & hazardless. Mutton Byryani is already there in Menu along with other eatable. i want to make this event unforgatable for all of us. Also give all your best withes to my Hubby

Kheer (Indian rice pudding) is really nice. Its creamy and not too sweet. There is also gulab jamun (semolina balls fried and dipped in sugar syrup) these are very popular.
You might have heard of gajrella/gajar halwa which is made of carrots - very sweet though! And lastly there is ras malai which is similar to kheer but made of sweetened cottage cheese in a sweet, milky sauce.
Once you have chosen the restaurant, you could try their desserts out to see which is the best one. Have fun!

U can serve him "fried ice-cream". U can get the recipe from sanjiv kapoor's book. It is my favourite one.

kheer pudding its ok but u really cant mess it up though i hav no idea how to make it
