I don't like eating meat. But I do - it helps keep me healthy. Much the same as the vegetables - but I love their taste.

I'm assuming that by "people" you mean "the majority of 'Western' populations." Vegetables are far more prominent in Asia, Africa and the Middle East. Most people who don't enjoy vegetables don't know how to prepare them--they'd rather intensify their later-life agony by consuming vast quantities of processed food with very little nutritional value than have to spend a few minutes online looking up recipes, and then taking a half hour or so actually cooking something tasty that won't promote heart disease, cancer, stroke, elevated blood pressure and diabetes.

And, in contrast to the false advice of AndyB, "meat" is not necessary for any human. The majority of people in the United States are overweight, and an ever-increasing amount of Canadian, Australian, English and other European citizens are quickly catching up as these supposedly "informed" societies pile the sugar, salt, corn syrup, saturated animal/trans fat, refined white flour, processed foods, and animal body parts even higher. Looks like the "eat all the garbage you want" diet isn't working.

maybe it's the taste? or maybe eating vegetables is a form of scaring kids in the dining table. "if you don't eat your vegetables, you won't be able to watch tv!"

You need vegetables in order to have a balanced diet. You need meat as well.

Because they choose to not be educated on the benefits of eating it. Many people say, " I can't eat veggies" That's because they've programed themselves to think on one track. Now later in life they are going to wish they had eaten their veggies but people think they are invincible
