Obviously Yahoo thought it would be a beneficial category. Vegetarians and vegans didn't make it up. There are many food categories for meat eaters, why don't you scoot over there and impart your knowledge instead of asking silly questions here.

Yes being a vegan means having fewer food options and this is great place to exchange recipes and ideas about vegan diets. If you dont like this category then get out of here and go to a carcass eating category

There are so many vegetarian favorite recipes to share that it would be great to be able to come here and discuss. Unfortunately, this category has attracted more goofballs and naysayers than it deserves. Why do people take such pleasure insulting and being down right rude to those that have a legitimate interest that does not hurt you in any way? Huh???

Yes because otherwise all the anti-vegans would just harass us on any of our questions! It is also very helpful to share recipies and stuff. So do we really NEED this section of the site, no. But it's very handy.

Actually, matzaballboy, as someone who just realized the benefits of vegan-ism and needs ideas about meals, this is a very interesting site.
I'm very sorry you are consuming the bad energy of tortured animals and processed food. You will be very sick later in life. That is unless you change your eating habits.

yea its supposed to be a category where vegans and vegetarians can asks questions without being harassed!!!! sadly thats not always the case eg: someone replied to a question 'dear tofu farting fairy' and believe it or not, its hard for vegans to find stuff to eat...anyway i think you wasted a question but it gave me something to do for 2 minutes

I am not a vegan, or even vegetarian, but I imagine they would need to exchange ideas on what to eat and how to feed their kids.
