i gave someone head and the next day my tonsils were infected. i waited a while because i thought maybe it was just a virus. the second time i gave the same person head and the infection came back. my tonsils are swollen and have white spots.

I really don't think it's oral thrush beacause it was white on only my tonsils. But it pretty much is gone. Its still just swallen really big and hurts.

Yes, you can.
But before you get too bent out of shape... was the person "trimmed" doen there? Were they clean? i could be a hair caught in the back that your body is tring to break down or it could be germs being introduced to your body that its not used to.
All in all go to the doc, you can get tons of stuff by way of oral sex. But in the mean time gargle with salt water to help clean your throat.

A lot of people have the misconception that STDs can only be spread through vaginal or anal sex. This is not the case. Many STDs can be spread through oral sex, such as herpes, gonorrhea, syphillis, and even HIV if you have an open sore in your mouth. I am not exactly sure what the white spots would be, but if it happens after oral sex and you didn't have a sore throat prior to performing oral sex, you should go to the doctor to have it checked out; it's better to find out for sure now then to have something and just let it go. Most STDs, if caught early can either be treated or possibly cured before you pass it on to your current or any future partner(s).

Giving head is sexual, and it seems to have transmitted to your tonsils, so I'd say yes, it is an STD. Wait til your tonsils feel better. Then try head on somebody else and see if your tonsils get infected again.

Yes, you could have an infection from your sexually activity. Most people don't realize that you can even contract HIV through oral sex. Please practice safe sex and use an oral condom. One second of pleasure can ruin your entire life. You need to see a doctor as soon as possible so you can be treated.

Yes, you could. You should go to th doctor and have it checked out. Let the doctor know your symptoms and what you told us here. It could be nothing, but it could be std also. You/ your partner should us a condom even while having oral sex.

Yeah, you can definately get an STD through oral. I even heard that people get it through oral even MORE than people that get it through intercorse. It could just be nothing, but go to the doc and tell him what you told us. Better safe than sorry

There are a few std you can get with oral sex: gonorrhea, herpes, HPV(human papillomavirus), HIV, condyloma. Either you know well the person and she/he is safe or you play safe using condom until you both get tested.

sounds like thrush. it's a fungal infection. nystatin will get rid of it. no more head for that person.

you didn't learn the first time..... best to go to the doctor to check it out. he will run the right kind of test and give you antibiotics.
