whata re the chances of it coing back positive ...this same person had shared needles with hiv positive person and not contracted the disease...so whata re the chances

Hiv is fragile when exposed to the air nothing is ever certain if immediately some hiv person used it and injected it to another person there is a higher chnace of infectio but nothing is ever 100%
i have read some stories i am sorry if this happened to yuor friend all you can do is hope for te best.

Disposable syringes and needles are commonly used these days I can say. About someone who shared needles with HIV positive person have to be watchful even if the initial tests reveals negative. HIV incubation period could be delayed and could be detected after years up to 6 years or longer. Better to report to appropriate personnels for assessment and follow up and proper action done.

it can take up to 6 months for HIV to show up in the blood.. the chances of contracting HIV from reused needles is very good depending on how soon after it was reused, but I can assure you, as a nurse for over 10 years, I have never reused a needle and would never consider it in a million years.. Those who have or ever do, should rot in hell.

needle sharing is one of the best ways to get HIV if your sharing needles you should get some help for your drug problem goodluck you need to find some help AA NA CA
