It's more like why do people climb tall mountains, or dive the deepest. For those who are Type 2, diabetics, they remember the good old days when there was no concern about what/when to eat. For Type 1 diabetics, it's something they are tied to for their entire life and would like to break the bonds.
It would be similar to having a radical change in someone's life - not for their good - and knowing that obstacle is there forever, along with the need to be like others or stand out with others. It's simplly because you can.

I'm a 45 year old woman and was recently diagnosed as being a borderline diabetic. My doctor prescribed some medication, but before filling it I decided to do some research on the internet which led me to the methods. After reading this ebook and applying the methods, my scepticism turned to 100% belief. I noticed that my energy levels increased significantly and I felt more rested in the morning, my symptoms started going away.
I am very happy to tell you that I have been feeling better than I have felt in years and my doctor informed me that he will be taking me off my prescriptions if I keep this up.
I recommend you use the Type 2 Diabetes Destroyer to naturally reverse your diabetes.

I never cheat. Read this, it helps:
For type I and type II diabetics.
I've found a wonderful book that will help you control your diabetes and minimize or even eliminate the complications. I'm a type II, but it helps both types, especially us type IIs. It's by an author who has really done his homework. I have tried his suggestions and found them to be very helpful. I have no complications whatsoever and my blood sugar levels are quite stable. Yes, I still have to take Metformin (Glucophage) daily, but it's the minimum dosage (500mg) and I only have to take it twice a day.
It explains what's going on in our system and what to do about it. It's really easy and inexpensive. It's basically supplements and exercise. For example, did you know that cinnamon helps blood sugar absorbtion? It also controls cholesterol and triglycerides, too. This is according to the USDA.
For men: Are you suffering from erectile dysfunction? I was. Yes, was. Now that everything's under control I'm able to have nearly normal sex again.
Read more about it here:

I've also put together a little webpage highlighting some of the things I've learned here:

I think diabetics like everyone occasionally test the limits of what they can and cannot do. Especially those that are newly diagnosed or teenagers.

my dad is diabetic and he does it all the time, he will take his medication right before visiting the doctor and I think thats because he wants the doctor to see his levels are fine, he has not come to turms with the fact he has it.

it's a pain taking pills or getting your insulin shots daily, you know, especially if you have lots to take
sometimes when they are on their medications they feel fine, and don't take them after a while, so when the effect wears off they get symptoms later
it may be also due to the rebellious nature imprinted in us...
