Well, that would be my famous salad.... it contains all sorts of good things including broccoli, tomato, romaine lettuce, celery, turnip, mushroom, carrot, alfalfa sprouts, garbanzo beans, spinach, onion (green and red), spices, and your favorite low fat/low cal dressing. Eat all you want and don't gain any weight. Yummy.

I have to go with the Indian ones. They are so full of different textures, spices, the variety is just incredible. It's probably one of the few cuisines where you can go to the average restaurant and find a LARGE selection of actual vegan foods that create healthy whole meals! MMM I'm getting hungry!

I work at a vegan resturant where we searved lots of seitan, you would not beleive by looking at it or tasting it that it wasnt meat at all

Wheat gluten - also called seitan (pronounced SAY-tahn), wheat meat, wheat-meat, wheatmeat, gluten meat, or simply gluten - is a foodstuff made from wheat gluten. It is made by washing dough made from wheat flour in water until the starch is rinsed away, leaving only the gluten, which can then be cooked and processed in various ways.

Wheat gluten, although not as well known, is an alternative to soy-based meat substitutes such as tofu; some types may taste even more like meat than tofu due to their chewy and/or stringy texture. It is often used in place of meat in Asian, vegetarian, Buddhist, and macrobiotic cuisines.

Wheat gluten is most popular in China, where it was first developed, as well as in the cuisines of other East and Southeast Asian nations. In Asia, it is commonly found on the menus of restaurants catering primarily to Buddhist customers who do not eat meat, but who nonetheless enjoy eating meatless versions of meat dishes.

BEEF OR PORK OR CHICKEN OR FISH. Vegan and vegeterian do not compute in the minds of reasonable rational people. That is like saying no chemotherapy for cancer. JUST a STUPID choice you or I make. I like meat, have no quams about eating once living things (like plants) and you don't ; to each his own. But Vegan is STUPID.
