Purple sore on my underwear line?

I have this sole, for lack of a better word right where my underwear sits between my private and my leg, right above the tendon. It's not from my underwear wearing wrong cause I get those ON the tendon. Now, this purple sore itches like MAD most of the time and when it stops itching, if I touch it, it starts again. Like a moskito bite, you know sometimes you forget about it and sometimes it itches like heck. OK, and its been there for almost 2 months now. Oh yea and it used to bleed but it looks like its starting to go away. It never pussed or anything, it was just purple and itchy. Any ideas what it was?? BTW, my boyfriend has HPV, I haven't seen it in me yet ... I was thinking maybe this was it trying to pop up out of the nerve ending but it was too close to the skin? let me know what you think. sorry to tell you, but it sounds like a wart caused from hpv. if your bfriend has hpv, then so do you. you may not test positive for it, but it can lay dorment in your body for up to 7 yrs b4 it can be detected. go to your gyno and ask for a checkup...tell them about your bfriend having hpv, so they can look solely for that. if they find anything suspicious, they might want to do a coposcopy(scraping of tissue to sample if cancerous), yes it does hurt a little, so be prepared if they say they want to do one of these. and by the way.....you can get warts from this in any area that is close to the pubic area.

It could be many things, but it also sounds like it might be sypilis. That has an open sore that goes away. That is very serious, because it causes severe brain injury..
Go to the Gyncelogoist NOW. Dont just be in denial or think its "no big deal"--only a Doctor can tell you what it is. As sexually active young person, going to the doctor is the responsiblity that you have when you choose to be sexually active.

You can call your local Planned Parenthood and see if they will examine you at low cost.

Also call 800-227-8922, The National STD Hotline to speak to a councelor

and go the website below to look at STD Photos & see which one looks like yours. The other one is Planned Parenthood.

It could be a cyst on a gland, there are several where the leg meets the groin, but as you have a history of contact with an STD it would be wise to get it checked.
In teh meantime, try wearing all cotton, looser panties, or go without (wear a long skirt if you feel selfconcious), it will help a lot to get the air circulating and take any pressure off the area

You need to get to the gyne NOW! It could be a number of things including herpes. You need to have it checked out because there is no telling what is actually going on inside of you and this is your body's way of getting your attention! If you don't have a gyne, go to a free clinic or Planned Parenthood in your area. It is so important to get this treated because it effects your ability to have kids and sometimes increases your cancer risk.

You should see a doctor. If you can't afford one you need to visit your local health department. First thing tomorrow morning. I agree with what (free2praise) mentioned..a planned parenthood clinic of some sort.

Well to me it sounds like a ring worm It won't go away you will need to ask the drug store for some ring worm cream. They have it and they will know what you are talking about. After you start useing it then it will take about a wekk for it to go AWAY!! I am a Nutcase But I know this one because ive had then my self!!!
