It's the MSG. The good restaurants use only the freshest of ingredients, but the cheap ones take a shortcut to taste by adding MSG.
If it affects you, you are probably (slightly) allergic to it.
Find a better restaurant.

It could be the MSG (monosodium glutamate) which is put in the food. Chinese food tend to put more of it than others, and it's also called the Chinese Restaurant Syndrome. It also makes you feel thirsty after eating. Some people are less tolerant of it, hence the feeling of bloating and other various symptoms. Try to stay away from restaurants/stalls which make you feel this way, especially the soups they serve.

NO, I do not. I love Chinese food. I have very strong stomach. It depends on interest. do not eat it if you can not digest it.

YEAH! I hear that cabbage or onion or w/e theres stuff in it that bloats you. So if u got cabbage in yours then grab a needle cuz u needa deflate yourself afterwards.
