Sadly enough, someone probably IS dying from the heat. ;((

Heatwaves especially, are notorious for causing death, especially to very young children and babies, and the elderly or ill people. Overheating puts such a great strain on our system, and those least able to cope with it, sometimes just don't.

In fact, it is possible for healthy people to die from the heat too, by being over-exposed for a long time. Even a healthy body can only tolerate heat for limited times. Though it might sound like something from the movies, it is possible for a human body to go into "melt-down" from overheating. Extreme medical support is required to help them survive, but sometimes it comes too late.

I hope you've been able to gain some relief by now, and feel much better. ;)
