Well, vegetarians aren't allowed to eat meat by their own standards. However, if oyu want to be a not very strict one (like me, I suppose), then you might consider eating meat once in a while, particularly light meats like chicken and fish. You mentioned that everyone in your house eats a lot of meat. So I suppose you might come into conflict if you suddenly become a gung ho vegetarian. You should therefore consider eating even cow meat and pig meat, which I assume is your family's speciality, once in a while with your family. But keep in mind that generally meat is bad. So while the rest of your family members have 10 servings of steak, you ought to take maybe only 0.5 servings. Indeed, you will see that that stuff actually has no real taste. I often just like the taste of chicken and fish. Maybe just stick to that along with fruits and vegetables. There are already so many unhealthy non-meat foods, such as Doritos and Coke, so why add to it by consuming lots of meat? Minimize your meat consumption. You shouldn't feel guilty if you eat it once in a while, because it's not like you're going to die on the spot. You might die later if you eat too much though, so be careful.

if you dont want to be strict than you could only eat white meat eg:chicken or fish

im a vegetarian and while some people call themselves vegetarian and still eat fish, i think its wrong, think of it this way: fish is NOT a vegetable, but eggs are compromisable, some say they eat eggs because they were never living breathing animals. i dont eat eggs and im trying to go vegan. i cant even handle WATCHING people eat meat because i watched the video at

Meat. It's Vegans that eat no animal products such as dairy. I eat no meat (beef, chicken, pork), but I do eat fish. Be prepared for the leers and comments from people. Whenever I eat at my family's homes, I tell them to cook for themselves and I can make due with the side dishes. They think I am annoying although I have never asked for them to prepare anything special for me.

Vegans are a strict vegetarian. they don't devour eggs, cheese, milk. in order to get the foodstuff those meals carry, they ought to take a nutrition pill. Vegetarians do no longer devour meat, yet do devour eggs, cheese, and milk. the final alterations is the dairy products. (some gelatin includes animal bone, yet actual no longer all. And marshmallows comprise gelatin..) desire this helped! :)

Basically, you can't eat meat. If you choose to be vegan, however, you can't have dairy products either. And, it's not just about eating, you also shouldn't use things with animal products in them like bar soap and leather shoes, etc.
