I've had Turkish coffee....cooked on an open flame, in one of those little silver pots with a spout on both sides....it had coffee, fine ground, water, cloves and another spice or two...boiled then reduced to simmer...and poured into a tiny cup. VERY strong, but excellent....!!

No, but I never married a turkish woman and my mother faild to cook them for me those days unless I travel to Turky soon.

yes, i went to a turkish resturant for the first time last week, the food was not what i expected it was very "normal" and i enjoyed everything i had. we are definatley going back.

Yep ... they're great! Some of my favorite dishes are adana kebap, patlıcan salatası, shaşlik and sütlaç.

Hope I got the accents right on those.
