a lady friend of mine is suffering from a STD. at the moment her stomach is so much swollen that she looks like she is pregnant. what could be the problem?

All tests indicate normal. However, the issue of gas and food indigestion was brought up. She also vomits everytime she eats something.

I'm sorry, I'm not a doctor--but I've had those symptoms before. I was SEVERELY constipated. My stomach was swollen and bloated and I did vomit every time I ate something. I thought I had the flu. I've had some medical experience and I have not heard of an STD that causes these disgestive symptoms. Is it possible the two issues are unrelated? If it were me now, I'd probably go to the ER.

I, too, am not a doctor...but I am a nurse practitioner.
There are several things that might cause abdominal distention. Some of them are minor, some of them can be serious.
She needs a thorough evaluation, soon.

This is really something she should see and doctor for. It's hard for anyone on here to give a proper diagnoses for that. Please tell her she needs to see a doctor, this sounds like something more than an STD.

my friend had this years ago she had to be hospitalized cause she waited to long to see a dr. she had a stomach infection! tell her to see another dr.

Pls do da Blood test, Urine test, Stool test 2 diagnose wat is da problem. Av old is she? 'm a Dr.
