Yes, ate it when I was a kid...but I didn't call it escargot. I called it cooked snail. I pulled it out of the shell with a large safety pin and dipped it in soysauce. Hmm!

Oh I love escargot! I first tried it when I was 6 and my mom was eating it. I loved how it was soaked with garlic butter! I eat them any chance I get, and my 7 year old son loves them!

Yes and I've had them prepared several different ways. Italian they were made in a spicey red sauce. American in a toasted puff pastry with herb butter and my all time favorite german. Six little escargot served with butter. delicious.

I won't even touch seafood - which I think they would taste like, and try not to eat meat in general, but need some intake to stay healthy. Now if you would please extend your carnivourous habits to eating the common or garden variety snail, or better yet cockroaches and other household pests that would be just fantastic!

the only people that eat snails is people who dont have cash to bye real food like chicken or burgers or pizza

I'm in the same boat as Canadian Goose. They just didn't do it for me. The texture isn't good and they're a pain in the a$s to eat.
