im a vegetarian because i care so much. i dont like thinking about all the starving people out there and being vegetarian can help them out. im vegetarian because its healthier. because i love my animal friends (my equals) because i care about all those trees! i care about the environment. and if everyone was vegetarian we could make the world an awsome place

This is a funny question I can ask to my niece, who is a vegetarian.
She'll probably get a kick out of it!! LOL!!! She said she doesn't eat meat because she doesn't like the way it tastes. Becky (my niece) has never liked the sight of blood either, and her mom thinks that this may be a reason why she won't eat it.

The short answer is, I'm a vegetarian because I care.
I care about protecting the rainforests. I care about preventing the suffering of innocent creatures. I care about preventing topsoil depletion. I care about preventing world hunger. I care about reducing energy consumption. I care about the air we breathe, and the water that flows in rivers. And I care about my own health. I honestly believe that the most significant thing I, as an individual, can do for any one of these things I care about is to consume only vegetarian food.

Actually, Im a semi-vegetarian (someone who does not eat red meat). I never did like eating stuff like burgers, steak, and pork because its nasty and I dont really feel comfortable eating it. But, I do eat poultry, eggs, nuts, and I drink milk.
