I guess it's because that it's very famous, and everybody likes it because it is chocolatety and sweet, so every time they eat it, it brings them happiness. (joy)

because it is engraved in our head since childhood that chocolate brings happiness. everytime i cried when i was young my parents bribed me with chocolate candy or ice cream.
