Morningstar farms has all kinds of veggie meat products from Hamburgers, to chicken patties. Make pan gravy and heat the chicken patties and baked potatoe and serve with a cooked veg.
and a salad and hard roll. Great dinner. We even roll the grillers in beaten egg to coat and flour and fry like chicken fried steak.
Use the hamburger seperate in speghetti and cheese ravolis
We are never at a loss for something to eat from Lazanna to
bean burritos. We make the 7 layer jobs that you can get from Taco Bell. We have even gotten cheese burgers and asked them to hold the meat and replace it with the grillers. They will heat it up and use it instead of meat. Then get your french fries and a coke. Pizza hut makes a great veggie pizza get everything on it and extra parmazan cheese. Side order salad and no one even knows it is veggi. Wendy's also has serval things that are without meat. Just look at the menu if you likeit go home and make the same thing.

I guarantee if you try to meet the "recommended" dose of protein which is somewhere near 45+ grams per day, you will get sick and tired processing all the crap you are supposed to eat. You don't need it.

Just eat healthy food-- salad fruits veggie. Drink water.
Don't stress. The body, like any herbivore, can synthesize protein from nutrient-dense sources. It also recycles amino acids. Any 2-ton elephant, or deer that runs at 40 MPH, or grazing cow will tell you the same GD thing-- protein requirement is a myth.

To stay healthy your body needs many, many different types of proteins, not all of these can be found in plants and nuts. So in order to get enough of the proteins you need for things like growth, maintaining muscle and repairing your body you might have to take supplements, although of course, your body is better adapted to getting these proteins from meat. If you eat eggs, fish, milk, etc then you should be OK.

Do you want to be vegan or vegetarian because those are to similar but different things! Vegetarians allow them selves to eat dairy, eggs and fish. Vegans eat no animal products or by-products what-so-ever.

Vegetarians can get protein from, well, dairy, eggs and fish. But vegans get protein from peanuts (peanut butter on wheat bread is vegans best friend), beans (beans and rice is delicious dinner), soybeans (stir fry them with other veggies over rice), and tofu (many diffent firmness and types). Some also put protein powder or take vitimens to get protein. But you also remember that you need calcium and iron which you primarly get from meat but you can get calcium from soymilk, iron from broccilli and other greens.

Good sources of protein
When we think of dietary protein, we tend to think of animal meats. While these are rich sources of this vital dietary element, protein is also found in plant foods, such as grains and legumes, and in eggs and dairy products, such as milk and yogurt. In order to obtain the full range of essential amino acids, you should eat a variety of protein foods. Many people choose red meat (beef, pork, lamb and veal) as their main source of protein, and eat it regularly through the week.

This is not necessarily the best approach. Animal meats commonly contain excess fat and lack other important vitamins and minerals, such as complex carbohydrates and dietary fiber. Plant foods, such as legumes, nuts, seeds, and grains, also provide protein. Soy products are particularly popular (e.g. tofu) but contain phytoestrogens, which can be harmful in excessive quantities. A combination of plant and animal proteins is recommended for a balanced diet.

Protein
It is very easy for a vegan diet to meet the recommendations for protein as long as calorie intake is adequate. Strict protein planning or combining is not necessary. The key is to eat a varied diet.

Almost all foods except for alcohol, sugar, and fats are good sources of protein. Vegan sources include: potatoes, whole wheat bread, rice, broccoli, spinach, almonds, peas, chickpeas, peanut butter, tofu, soy milk, lentils, kale...

For example, if part of a day's menu included the following foods, you would meet the Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) for protein for an adult male: 1 cup oatmeal, 1 cup soy milk, 2 slices whole wheat bread, 1 bagel, 2 Tablespoons peanut butter, 1 cup vegetarian baked beans, 5 ounces tofu, 2 Tablespoons of almonds, 1 cup broccoli, and 1 cup brown rice.

There is protein in other things like peanuts/peanut butter. There are protein supplements you can take if you want to abstain completely for meat.

Fish is a good source of protein. I eat tuna, but you have to be careful b/c too much fish could make you sick with the content of like mercury in fish through biomagnification in the food chain.

Soy is great for protein: In the form of milk, tofu and things like boca burgers, Morningstar Farms Chicken.

Nuts are also very high in protein: Pine nuts and Almonds rate very high. You can mix in salads, soups, morning muffins.

Fish: most fish is pretty high in protein. Tuna and cod are great choices and are so versatile to cook with.

Dairy Foods: Yogurt, eggs and cottage cheese are high protein choices as well.

Good Luck!

Fake meats, beans, peanutbutter, nuts and seeds, tofu, wheat gluten (aka "seitan"). If you aren't a vegan, eggs and dairy. Get yourself a cookbook (try the library or browse the bookstore).
