Hi, I am vegan too. Have you spoken to a dietitian as anaemia is very serious. They may suggest iron tablets or the many other sources of iron you can get the most out of within your diet. Broccoli and dark green leafy vegetables are best but if you feel you need help, please see a professional.

Make sure to drink alot of green juice.
The fresher the better, using a machine designed to extract specifically green leaf juice.
You could also add sea-algae superfood as supplement, which you can get raw.
A rawfoodist would probably think your anemia is in part caused by eating cooked food. For instance how there's a defecit of calcium when you drink milk, because the body extracts calcium from the bones in order to break down the animal proteins.
I know a diabetic that's basically cured-- I doubt you'll be instantly better as a raw-foodist because the process is gradual, maybe get into that whole detox business. That Ejuva (i think) company has a 30-day program that might help.
good luck

Consider a compromise : rather than eating meat, relax on eating raw foods. Raisins are a very good source of iron. There are some good vitamin enriched cereals that are also good - like 100% total. Vitamin supplements with extra iron will help. Be sure to drink orange juice with iron because it will help you absorb the iron. Avoid caffeine, stress and too much exercise - they all deplete iron from your system.

You don't have to have a choice between eating nothing but vegetables and meat.
Use the areficial meat products make from soy beans and take multiple vitamins. They have artificial hamburer, corn dogs, regular hot dogs and chicken patties.
Just takes a little planning. Make sure you get enough protein.
Soy is a complete protein. Take soy power milk shakes or tofu
Just eating raw food isn't goint to get it. You need protein and beans need to be cooked. Go get a bean burrito at taco bell or a 7 layer job or a vegetarian pizza at pizza hut.
Don't go back to eating meat, try brown rice and refried beans with corn tortillas. You just need food.

Anemia, not enough RBCs being produced. One solution is to up the Iron in your diet. Dark leafy greens, ie spinach, kale, etc, are highest in iron when compared to other plant matter. Uncooked is best. I'm not sure how it compares to animal flesh, since it can achieve much higher concentrations in flesh. Seek the professional advice of an nutritionist. I think you'll have to eat like 2 lbs of spinach per day to keep up with a meat eater...

If you are a raw food vegan due to your belief system you shouldn't eat meat. You can take iron suplements and there are non meat iron rich foods like spinach , broccoli , peas and bran enriched breads.

You can get iron from some plants, but it isn't the same type of Iron and your body can't use it, or at least extract it. The best way is to eat some meat of cheese, etc, but if you'd rather become seriously ill that's your choice.

well i think you shouldn't go to extremes.
i have a tendency to anemia so i prefer not to go raw and not even vegan.
i can keep being a vegetarian though... i wouldn't advice being a raw vegan if you are anemic.
make sure you're getting enough foods with iron!
