Ummmm...no...i..i..really don't know if that's normal.
Okay well since you said it i wanna make my own story.
There was this nice piece of steak. It looked so good and juicy. I couldn't eat it. Matter fact I refused to eat it. I knew that this poor little steak had went through troublesome times. I picked up the steak and on it's rear i mean on it's backside i saw a name carved into it. It....it...it read: Pòrky. Yeah it read Pòrky with the little accent on it and everything. I went through my mind and traveled back in time and met Pòrky's familià. (FLASHBACK) Pòrky was a very smart piece of steak. Matter a fact he had a degree in Politics. Pòrky had debated whether there should be vegetarians or not. Pòrky knew that this was and i quote, "A live, eat, die world." He debated and came up with the fact that pork is MEANT to be EATEN! Whether it's cow or well whether it's cow. Pòrky had 3 kids from oldest to smallest: Pòrkiìã age 10, Pórkson age 8, and the littlest Pòrkey Jr.. But one day this would all change for Pòrky he went out to catch some food for his young-ins , until............
(DUN...DUN...DUNNNNN) He saw a...a...he saw a... a a BUTCHER. Who was ready to kill. He knew that it was a live eat die world so Pòrky called up his kids and proceeded to tell them one-by-one that he loved them. After that it was history. (END OF FLASHBACK) I soon saw Pòrky's point of view. It was a live eat die world. I knew one day i was gonna die so i proceeded to eat Pòrky, but before i did i blessed him.
Let me tell YOU. Pòrky was a de-li-ci-ous piece of steak.
R.I.P. Pòrky

Hmmm sounds very interesting. I named the 2 pigs I was going to eat and eventually did eat. They were "Ham" and "Bacon" and they were delicious. They weren't worth the trouble though because they kept breaking out of their pen and one day went to a neighbour's place and tore open their garbage so I had to go clean it up. But maybe that is the backstory that made it so much fun to eat them. Bye bye piggies, yum yum.
Remember when Italian Stallion changed his name and avatar for a day or two....do you remember what he called himself then?

Normal is relative. Not normal to me, but maybe to you. You must have a creative mind. Try writing out your stories.

Of course it's normal. If I said it wasn't, then I'd just be prejudice against your eating habits.

no this is a highly unusual practice, but I wouldn't worry unless the foods gives you names, too.
