Go see a doctor, preferably one who you've seen before, so he won't just brush you off. Get a complete physical and find out just what your health status is. If, as we all suspect and hope, there is no reason to worry, STOP WORRYING! Don't allow this to turn into an obsession.

Anyone with a brain will be scared of a heart attack, that's a serious thing! However, unless you are VERY unhealthy and heart issues run in your family, there's no reason to fear they will trouble you at your age or likely for a long time to come.

If you are unhealthy, then talk to your doctor about the best way to deal with that...and talk to him/her about your fear of having a heart attack...they can tell you what your general risk is, based on your age, fitness, health, family history and things to do to help avoid them.

Take care of you the best way you can...so hopefully a heart attack is nothing you need every worry about.

It is mostly fear of the unknown. To alleviate your fears, you should take a health class and learn more about your heart and other things that you can do to stay healthy and strong. If you have a strong family history of heart problems, the sooner you develop heart healthy habits the better - and make sure your family does the same. Toss those cigarettes and lay off the fatty red meats and other foods drenched in cholesterol and make sure that you keep your weight under control. Easy to say, all hard to do.

i've been scared of heart attack since i was 14. Although I'm male. It's a serious threat nowadays, even to younger people. So it's ok to be cautious. But don't be paranoid about it.

. but she can get heart cleared in just a few hours [ general check up, treadmill exercise tolerance, CXR, ECG, U/Scan, FBS, SUA, Lipids, Fundus eye, uterus, HIV,]. if she cant afford, a gen clinical check by her own family doc will be 90% adequate.
