This is possible but not very common. If your partner's mouth is infected with an STD, then he or she may be able to pass that infection to your mouth during a kiss. Fever blisters and cold sores (oral herpes) can be passed through a kiss if your partner is infected. Blood-borne infections like HIV or Hepatitis B or C can only be passed through kissing if there is the exchange of infected blood. If your partner has an infection in his or her genital area, then kissing on the mouth will not transmit the infection.

I have been reading a lot about STD things, sadly we started to thing about that when we were in exposure (its my case) I just recommend you not to kiss someone if you doesnt know, because some doctors says that HIV could pass trough a french kiss (in very very some rare cases)

STD means sexually transmitted disease. It is not KTD. However, if you have a cold sore or something - it is a type of herpes -- yes, contagious. However, if the other person gets one -- it is still not a sexually transmitted disease even though it is of the herpes family. It did not transmit because of sex.

herpes

That's all I've heard of that can be contracted under sensible circumstances. I guess there's more but you'd have to have open sores and all that crap. I don't plan on kissing someone who's bleeding while I'm bleeding.

You can get Mono which is in your saliva, herpes which can form on your lips and, gonorrhea which lives well in your throat if you performed oral sex with a person that is infected and does not know.

herpes (you can't get rid of it) , aids only if they have a cut in their mouth (unlikely)

P.S mono isn't an std

Not many unless both of you have sores in your mouths... But Herpese is the only one if they have a sore.
