The switch is not for the weak, even though you feel great after you get used to getting rid of the animal. You need good will and the mind set not to give up. Many give up and take the easy route but don't do that! Try somthing work for it. Being vegan is like an adventure when you go to grocery stores seaching for diffent things for you to eat that have no animal, instead of getting the same ground beef all the time. It's a journey seaching through a menu at a resturant and seeing if they have anything for you or even asking the chef to omit the meat. I feel better as a person being vegan, like when I see an animal I can say i have not eaten you or your relatives.

To be healthy just make sure you get protein (nuts, beans, soy) iron (green veggies like brocilli) and calcium (soymilk)

Not at all , A true vegan has dietary needs that are not meet by there diet. While a vegetarian get more diversity and is much more healthy. The point is the a true vegan goes over the top , and that is not healthy.

I've been both and really being vegetarian is more healthy because milk and eggs are the prime way I get protein. And it's hard to eat at a restaurant if you're vegan. People will ridicule you if you're a vegan too.

I friend of mine is a vegetarian who tried to become a vegan. He switched back after a week. He said that it was just too difficult. He also said it was much harder to be healthy because it was harder to get his daily dose of vitamins and minerals.
