No hiv test s 100%. as far as i know the antibody test is 99.99% the p24 which is the 28 days is 99.8% accurate for 28 days after exposure but the pcr sn't i'm not totally sure how much accurate it is.....

Most likely he will recommend a follow up ELISA test at the 3 month mark, and possibly 6 month mark depending on your exposure. The 28 day negative is very encouraging though, and the odds are very much in your favor. Again Talk to your Doc and get a follow up ELISA at least 3 months after the exposure.
