Do you want to bet the health of the rest of your life on whether or not you think you have a cut in your mouth? We are talking microscopic skin breaks caused by corn chips or a gum slightly pulled away from the teeth by a tough piece of meat or an abrasion from a toothbrush. You are supposed to use dental floss every day and it cuts slightly into all the gums between all the teeth. So how long do you give it to heal up? Do you bet your life? Ever bite the inside of your cheek? Chapped lips have very tiny cracks and sometimes bleed. The bacteria in your mouth are eating the mucosa. Not likely. Keep in mind that you don't always have HIV present in the bodily fluids all of the time. Just to be safe use a dental dam.
