Heavenly Father, please forgive those that blaspheme and curse You. Please touch their hearts and heal the pain and hurt within them.

Vegetarians believe that if they stop eating meat, eventaully people will stop slaughtering animals for food, although they don't realize that God allows them to use animals for food.

Well, who knows if God created man as an omnivore. Just because we can digest meat doesn't mean we should eat it. We can digest dirt, but it doesn't mean we should eat it. Even God says that there are some foods we should not eat, such as other humans. It's somewhat disgusting to see or do that; such activities parallel the consumption of cow and pig meat. I think chicken is fine though. All in all, however, I think only when you don't have a choice, you should take a largely carnivorous eating routine. Otherwise, stick to a simple vegetarian lifestyle, but don't be restrictive just for the sake of being restrictive. Some meat now and then is all right for me.

Because my fellow man hauls the mighty beast in the air and cuts him into pieces whether the animal is unconscious or not. Because man puts profit ahead of any consideration that the animal is capable of feeling pain or emotion. God created the animals to walk in the sun, behold the beauty of the earth and feel the ground beneath it's feet. Factory farms are hell. Man created hell on earth in the form of a factory farm. Read some more about factory farms. If you want to eat meat, eat something that has stood in the sun and smelled fresh air (as opposed to the stench of urine it's whole life). God created man as an omnivore, and man does bad things to animals for profit. That is why I am a vegetarian.

No, God did NOT create an omnivore. Humans evolved into omnivores from our ancesters eating meat b/c in the time of say...cave men.... meat was all there literally was to eat. If you were born with only 1 leg....why would you get a plastic 2nd leg? Just b/c we're born with teeth to eat meat b/c of past human choices, doesn't mean we have to follow the same ****** guidelines. Yea....that also gives you teh right to believe your own things...like, say.... is there really a God? Think about it.

OMG!! I can't belive how ignorant you are!!!! First of all, there's no god, and no one "created omnivorous people"! We don't need meat or any other animal product!. I am a vegan because I choose other animals not to suffer for no reason!

God's intent was for everyone to be a veggie...then human sin came into play and people strted murdering innocent animals for food. I mean, think about it. Don't most people want world peace? I'm sure God does. Do you think we will ever achieve that if INNOCENT animals are being BRUTALLY SLAUGHTERED every day? I don't think it's possible to live in a peaceful world if this is still happening.

Being vegan is a popular trend for some, a dietary necessity for others, and a way for some people to feel better about themselves, such as those that need "a cause".

Omnivore's (humans) eat meat and vegetables. So if we choose to be vegan's or vegetarians, then it's fine.

It's not like we're carnivores becoming herbivores.

God loves every animal and God also created other creatures, so I'm not eating them. I think it seems selfish if you think that God only loves man and that man is better than anything that exists.
