Yes you should get checked right away. Even if it isn't diabetes. You could be type 2 and if you wait to long the sugar that is not properly used will build-up in your blood and you could go into a Coma. Go to the Doctor and get checked.

Don't worry too much. I also failed the first GTT test, but passed the second. Since then, I've learned that's fairly common. Failing the first test does not mean you have Gestational Diabetes. Did your doctor say your baby was small or just your belly? A small belly doesn't necessarily mean a small baby. Everyone carries differently, and that can have a profound impact on how big you look. I carried my daughter all out front, and at 32 weeks looked as though I was going to deliver at any second (and she was a week overdue - I could barely move by that point). As long as your doctor says your baby is doing well, don't worry. Best of luck and congrats on your pregnancy.

Frequent urination is one of the symptoms of diabetes and sometimes fatigue. Do you have excessive thirst? Do yourself a favor and go see your family physician soon. Only through blood work can it be determined for sure if you have diabetes or not.
Good luck and I hope you feel better soon!

If not pregnant must consider urinary tract infection. Diabetics have frequency of urination, heavy water drinking and huge appetite. Get a urine check and a 2 hour post prandial sugar if you are that worried.

Does diabetes run in your family? Do you have dry mouth and drink lots of fluids as well. if you say yes to these get checked out it could be diabetes. other wise you may have a UTI. Get checked out anyway.
