You don't have to eat the hamburgers. There is probably going to be lettuce and tomatoes. You could make yourself a salad with them.

just ask for a plain bun with cheese. Make yourself a cheese sandwich, or make do with another meal with the ingredients she set out. Tell her you're a veggie-girl. My grandma totally accepts my eating habits.

Tell her. If you don't she'll be wasting meat. I'm a vegetarian too. I don't agree with eating meat but I'd rather see someone eat a dead animal than waste it. Killing an animal for its meat then wasting it is much worse in my book than killing it to eat in the first place.

I agree with the cheese sandwich if it's an acceptable option for you but make sure to explain your way of living to her! Remind yourself why you're doing this and explain it. Maybe there's somebody else who'd be interested in you veggie burgers! Bring some if you have your favorite recipe :-)

Eat a salad, french fries (if that is on your acceptible list), eat the bread, lettuce, tomato, etc. off the burger, everything except the meat. She'll get the idea...

Now is a great time to tell her. If you really do not want to tell her then just eat the sides and tell her your sick of burgers since that is all you have been eating lately

ANY TIME YOU GO TO SOMEONES HOUSE TO EAT IT SEEMS RUDE TO NOT EAT WHAT IS SERVED. MY TEEN-AGERS ARE VEGETARIANS. THEY ALWAYS BRING A PRO-TEIN REPLACEMENT ITEM FOR THEMSELVES AND A
SIDE-DISH TO ADD TO THE MEAL......they are good boys.
Everyone knows they are vegetarians........no one is put out.
