i've tried using condoms and everytime i use them it hurts. even if it's only been 1 min of sex, i go dry and it hurts. it doesn't hurt when i use lube but i dont carry a tube of lube in my back pocket for emergencies. and the condoms with "extra lube" dont work. will a lamb skin condom work better for me? does it protect just as well? any other options i can use that will protect from stds?

Have you tried using a bigger condom, Magnum perhaps. Your problem may just be that the condoms you are using are just too small. Also, have you considered the fact that you make be allergic to latex? They say that lamb skin condoms do not protect against HIV because they are too porous. Depending on how sexually active you are, you and your partner may just want to go and get tested for STDs and just have her use birth control. But of course this will only work if the two of you are monogamous. I would talk to your family doctor about your issues.I am sure he can offer up some other suggestions.

Actually using spit can be a good way to help this. Also 4 play really helps. That way the girl is wet enough. Be careful because not having enough lube can cause the condom to break.

In tests, lambskin condoms allowed for some transmission of virus, while latex condoms were found to be much more effective.

Latex allergies often result in rash where your skin was in contact with the latex, and hay fever-like symptoms such as sneezing. A severe allergy may result in difficulty breathing and shock.

Just use something like K-Y Jelly, and pay attention 'cause you may need to reapply it.

There are all types of condoms and I am sure there is one for this problem. They all have the same effectiveness. If you find that you can not find one that suits you then maybe you should try something else like have your partner where a female condom or a diafram.

Try non-latex condoms. Sounds like you may have a latex sensitivity.
