2 weeks ago i went to get my yearly testing for stds. i was having some symptoms of chlamydia and without knowing the results of the testing, my doctor treated me for it. the test came back negative for chlamydia. but, i just recently had unprotected sex with a guy who may have it. is it okay to get treated 2 times in one month?

Yes...please take your meds, don't have sex with this guy until he is treated and retested and he needs to wear a condom..and you need to be retested after you finish the meds as well...be careful out there..aside Chlamydia there is a upsurge of Trich and GC and of course Herpes II can be passed from person to person without a outbreak..so it is really important to use condoms for a barrier for STD's

No it wont hurt your body to be treated for any STD's no matter how many times you get them in one month, its when you do not get them treated that will hurt your body. You can have organs shut down or worse you will mess up your sexual organs or have to have surgery. Its always important to get treatment for any STD as soon as you know you have it.

First of all, I hate doctors who treat for things without testing to make sure it's correct! Secondly, yes it's fine to treat for something twice in one month. Sometimes the first treatment doesnt work so they have to do a second treatment and theres no harm in it. Third, condoms!!!!!!!
