None of the Asians I've ever met eat rice with noodles or spaghetti!!! And I live in Japan, so I've got lots of Asian people around me - not just Japanese, either!

Maybe your maid just loves rice so much that she can't go without it for even one meal??!!

Typical asian meal is rice and a small portion of meat, egg, or veggie.

Some add rice to everything it's a preference, and by the way, no one here thinks you have a maid

Rice is the main stay for mose asian cultures. In some it is concidered to be almost religous. If there is not a boul of rice on the table the meal is not compleat. It reminds them that they are from the poor no mater how much they have.

Yes, they eat rice with most of their meals. It's a staple in the Asian countries like Japan, China, Korea, etc.

And Asians don't eat cats. Mostly just fish.

it is considered as a staple to most asians. As for europeans anglo-saxons, and africans-- they eat breads.

However, it really depends who eats what with their rice. Sometimes I eat pancit( vermicelli sauteed with vegetables, onions) and little rice. But I prefer a main course or entree being serve with rice not another rice or noodles dish because I'm eating too much carbohydrates.

♡I live in Japan and my hubby is Japanese, so I can only answer from MY OWN experience living in Japan.(*^o^*) Usually we only eat rice with our 'Japanese style' meals. If we're having spaghetti, lasagna, casserole, gratin, breakfast cereal... Western type food, we usually don't have rice with it. The only noodles I have seen and know that people, *mostly men, eat rice with here in Japan is Ramen. It is high in fat and carbohydrates though! Women usually never do this.
White rice and ramen:

Fried rice and ramen:

I have personally only seen men eat it ↑these two ways though. Many students do as well. White rice OR fried rice.
The only type of eggs I have seen eaten with rice are 'raw' eggs on top of rice:

Of course there are 'fried rice' with egg and 'omurice', which both start out as white rice.
I guess it all depends on personal choice.(^_-)-☆
Hope this helps you and I hope I didn't confuse you?!(*^o^*)

I am not Asian, but like rice ,when I have rice there is peace in my stomach and my whole body for that matter, I am satisfied and full and at peace with my world. Perhaps we should introduce it in the violent nations. It may help there

Rice is a filler. It absorbs flavor from the stuff around it. Like pasta. Spanish people also live on rice.

'everything' pretty much sums it up LOL

currie, vegetables, spinach, tofu, chicken/fish,
Rice with noodles/spaghetti kinda pushes it if you're not dieting

I put boiled eggs for noodles. Fried egg for all else, except rice
