I don't know why people always confuse the two. Maybe because HPV can look like HSV (herpes simplex virus)? I always see that too and it REALLY bugs me because I have both of those viruses and I know that they are completely different viruses! People need to read the questions a little more carefully and maybe educate themselves better on both viruses.
