Some men might suffer erection problems, but so far as I know there's no detrimental affect in women. Failure in other functions? Oh heck no... it's good and good for you for pete's sake.
I suffered a double whammy in the past few years... I was depressed and diabetic (both can and do cause erectile dysfunction). Got over the depression and took control of my diabetes and now I have a pretty good sex life at 54. Not able to leap tall buildings in a single bound, but 3 or 4 times a week is not too unusual.
If you are a new diabetic, we need to talk. Email me asap.

Hey, if it works use it. It won't hurt anything that I am aware of (assuming you don't have a heart ready to quit or something similar). I am safe, my ED is complete and I am told permanent.
I really hope you can still function. A 10 year dry spell is a real drag...and I don't see anything good on the horizon.

well Im a diabetic of 19 years & I enjoy sex on a regular basis w/out many problems, the only thing I personally have experienced is that if your blood glucoselevels are elevated then this causes ALL your mucus membranes to be dry, hence you may experience dryness in the vaginal area, get your sugars dwon & use lube...NO problems!!!

Ever hear of ED? Diabetic males frequently suffer from this. Is the person you speak of male or female?
