I'm having a party and need to pop about 10 bags of popcorn at once. This might take a while in the microwave with those little bags. Do they make jumbo-size bags? Any other suggestions? Note: I don't want to spend $50 to rent a popcorn machine

We always made popcorn at home in large quanities...Use a large cast iron skilet and very little oil..peanut oil tastes like the movie kind. find a large cover that will cover the skillet on the stove, and only put in enough popcorn to see one layer of kernels on the bottom of the skillet. Shake Shake shake over medium heat. Better than Jiffy Pop!! Also, if your party is outside, some hardware stores sell popcorn poppers you use on a fire. They have a long handle and a nice tight lid. Have fun!!!

The cheapest way is on the stove. All you need is a large pot, a lid, a little bit of oil, some butter and some salt.

I prefer to make popcorn on the stove than any other method, it is waaay more yummy, I can make a lot in a short amount of time compared to any other method.
They don't make jumbo size bags here in Canada, I don't know about the U.S. though.

Try making popcorn on the stove and see if you prefer it over microwaveable or hot-air popped.

You can do it the old fashion way - pots and pans on your stove. Put a small amount oil at the bottom and put ONE LAYER of corn in the pot. Keep shaking over heat until popping stops.

Add salt at the end if you want to.

You can generally by pre-popped popcorn at the grocery store. Then just heat up your oven and place it in a large roasting pan to heat up.

I also like the outdoor fire pop method it pops up really fast and tastes a little smokey and the wire popper thing is cool to have for camping later on

Find a lot of friends with electric popcorn poppers or stove top poppers and have a "pre-party" party!
