Wouldn't it be a "people eat dog" world? Don't knock Korean BBQ though, it's awesome! Even better is Japanese-style Korean BBQ which actaully has chicken, shrimp, veggies added to the beef-a-rama. Sliced thin and so tasty...go for it!

As far as I know, that exact phrase doesn't exist in Korean. The vague meaning, however, is in the phrase "Some people would even sell off their dad". That phrase is used regarding a specific person though, in a negative connotation.

Hope that helps!
