Yes, I believe so. If we only took what we need the world would be a better place.
The grain fed to fatten cattle could feed the world and stop their senseless slaughter.
We are not at the top of the food chain. Humans should only eat meat if they can hunt, kill and eat an animal with their bare hands.

No it's called a food chain and we have to make the most of what we can!
Yes I'm a meat eater and yes I love animals but If it was a fight between me and the cow the cow would loose!

Greed is not an issue.
Humans will always be superior to animals, which is what gives us the right to slaughter and eat them as we please.
As long as we aren't threatening the existence of a species, there is nothing wrong with killing animals for food. Our ancestors' main supply of food would be from what they had to hunt and kill. Domesticating animals for their meat just makes it more convenient for us to survive.

No. Our history, our genetics, and our evolution shows we're meat-eaters. We're no more greedy for eating meat than is a wolf, or a bear, or a lion...
I love that you have the freedom of choice and expression to eat or not eat whatever you want. But please do not become one of those holier-than-thou preachers who tries to tell the rest of us what to eat. To each their own.

Animals are put here for us to eat. If one chooses not to eat meat it is thier decision, but one shouldn't judge others for eating meat. Everyone is entitled to an opinion, so neither person is wrong or right.

r u kidding? of course we're greedy. we can survive without meat but we take it anyway bc we think we can. if that was all we had that we could eat animals but right now they r innocent creatures! i havent eaten meat once in my entire life and i am a happy healthy girl!

There is this thing called a life cycle, where things are dependent upon each other to exist. Humans are not the only omnivores.

noo makes sense to use them, not all cows are dairy cows, not all chickens are laying chickens and some sheep have crap wool. most of them are only used for one or the other,

Unfortunately people would have caused a lot of the animal we eat to be no longer around or very close to no longer being around if we had no use for them.
