when they were enslaved by the man in the 18th -19th century it was the easiest source of protein that could be stolen and eaten,noboby is gonna miss 1 chicken, but if they were to try and eat a pig it would be the whip for sure. Then, over time the love of chicken and recipes associated with it were passed down for generations to come. That's my theory any comments? and just to add something else, come on now, everybody likes chicken. some cultures don't eat the swine some pray to cows but the chicken, Damn.

I'm a whitey I like chicken, my wife makes the absolute best pan fried chicken, I never thought I would ever meet anyone that could fry it better than my grandma but my wife sure can. Now my Mom makes the best home made biscuits you ever ate.

Why do you make me ashamed to belong to the same race as you? Twenty years ago, I thought that by now this racist thing would have passed. But things just don't change. Some people enjoy being backward and ignorant. And on top of that, you can't even get your stereotypes right, it's supposed to be fried chicken. And I love fried chicken.

Hey, I think its an OK question and deserves a legitimate response. There has to be some socio-economic-cultural reason that black people are predisposed to fried chicken.
Maybe cause fried chicken is popular in the south, and most black people in the North and other parts of the country fled the south to free themselves from slavery opression and whatnot?
Can anyone back me up on this? Its a lot easier to bash a question and call it racist than to think of an honest well thought-out answer.

I guess I have to chime in with everyone else. That is a very, very dumb question. All races likes chicken. It's delicious however you prepare it. When will we get over the petty issues and think about something more meaningful than these kinds of questions?
