you are definitely negative. elisa is a very sensitive test and i think you do not need even repeat the test. it turns positive even when the infection is not present. it means that it falsly diagnose cases but if it is negative it has no false negative. the interval between your semi-contact and the flue like disease is too short to be diagnosed as hiv.
cheer up. after 3 months you will get a negative results for sure. do not destroy your life for nothing. in 3 months you can change the world! come on!

Usually symptoms of a new HIV infection don't come until at least 2 weeks after infection. So if this all started a few days after you saw him, you probably didn't catch HIV from him (were you involved in any risky behavior before then?).

The ELISA test looks for HIV antibodies. In the early phase of infection, your body hasn't produced antibodies yet so the test will be negative. You should be tested again now (3 months after the suspected infection).

Lastly, it is extremely unlikely that you caught HIV from kissing and manual stimulation. It *is* possible though. HIV is shed in saliva. If you had any kind of cut in your mouth, the HIV could enter your body that way. Similary, if the guy had a cut on his finger and he put his finger inside of you, that could allow a route of transmission. Still, infection requires a very large dose of virus particles and it is unlikely you would get enough through either of these possible routes.

You could have caught something else from him....

Do you mean you touched him with your hand? He touched you with his hand, but there was no genital contact between you? Unless one of you are infection with something and touched your own body part before or after touching the other person's, how could anything be transmitted? I believe the latest research indicates that HIV can not be transmitted via saliva. Of course, there are other STDs that do not require genitalia contact such as warts. Why not start with going to the doctor and have a full physical?

Severe anxiety can case all those symptoms. You should speak to your doctor. Get an STD screen and put everything to rest.
