Yes. In fact, pubic lice (crabs) is the ONLY STD you CAN get from a toilet seat. This is REALLY rare though, but it's possible.

Actually you can.....if you are around people who have crabs, it would be fairly easy to get them.

However, getting them from a toilet seat sounds far-fetched. But on a funny note, they say not to throw tooth-picks into toilets, because crabs can pole vault!

But more than likely, if you are in an area where someone who has crabs is (living quarters, etc)....then you can get them.

Yes, when I was in the Navy a lot of guys in my division got them because we sleep so close together. Also they had to wash our clothes separately from the other deptments. Pretty soon they were marking our laundry bags "crab division".

Yes, crabs are the crab louse. You can even get them passed from your head to your pubic hair. As long as the lice are present, they can attach to your body, so you can get them from anywhere, however they don't generally live long in places like that.

Yes - I know someone who had them and they brought me a book from the library and proved to me that they can be picked up in places like a toilet seat. The "odds" are not high but it can happen.
