My grandfather
my former fiancee
William Shakespeare
Geoffery Chaucer
Emily Dickenson

Well, my grandfather and my former fiancee are both deceased and I miss them both very much. My grandfather influenced my life so much, and my former fiancee was my soul-mate. He was killed in a helicopter accident 2 weeks before our wedding. I'd just like to say hi to both of them again, and have the chance to tell them how much I loved both of them and how much they've affected my life in positive ways.

The other three are authors that I continually return to and re-read their works. They touch me in spiritual and emotional ways that I haven't been able to duplicate with any other authors. Their books have been like old friends that I'm always happy to spend time with...that, and my leather-bound Shakespeare is a treasured item of mine...It belonged to my grandfather. (See how this is all circular)?

I would bring President Bush, Jessie Jackson, the pope, the Prophet Mohammad, and Jesus Christ.

I think those 5 people could have an interesting conversation and help bring peace to the world. Bush so he could hear the truth for himself, Jessie to tell that truth because Bush wouldn't give a crap. The pope to make sure the rest of the world believes it. And the prophet and Jesus to tell the truth behind the stories that too many people accept for the true words of the different gods accepted by the different religions. Once the world finds out it is just a bunch of stories from long ago and the real truth is you live and you die maybe we can find peace in the world and work to improve our lives here!

Mother Therersa
Gahndi
President George W. Bush
Stephen Hawking
Albert Einstein

I don't know the mix would be quite right, but that is who I would go with if I just had 5 and no "theme". If I had a "politics" theme or "sports" theme or 'religion' theme for hte dinner party, the selection would be easier.
