You cannot spot reduce. Exercise will strengthen the muscles in your stomach, but that doesn't mean that therefore you'll lose fat there faster or first. It's just not happening. It sells abdominal exercise equipment, but that's about it. Where you lose fat first / last is a matter of genetics.

There are many reasons for bloating. Any yeasty food, pasta, beans and a whole variety of other foods can have an effect.
If you regularly suffer bloating there could be something going wrong in your stomach and some things can turn nasty. Consult a doctor.

Well...first off..you are not a "veggie" if you eat fish.
You can't target fat burning but you can target muscles. You need to burn more calories then you are taking in to lose weight and do exercises that target your abs.

Are you talking about fat around your waist or having a bloated stomach/intestines? If the latter you could try giving up booze, caffeine and sugar and start eating fibrous fruit and veg until you cr*p it all out....

Hate to ask but any chance that you are pregnant?
Weight loss will occur over the entire body tho people see the results in different areas.
To firm the abs, crunches and sit ups work.

Cut out all yeasts. They are in a lot of foods. There is a book called "The yeast connection" which would help you. I think it's by a Dr. Mackarness. There are many books on the subject. Try your library.

Beans and pulses make lots of gas!! You'll have to analyse your diet more.
You can't just target your belly alone though. The whole body gets to benefit.

if you're bloated you are eating too much salt and not drinking enough water. reduce, but don't eliminate the salt. drink more water obviously.
if it's not water bloating then it's gas, does it feel like gas? eat more fiber.
