Avocados contain fat. Mostly fruit contains natural sugar, which isn't that bad for you. You should only eat about 2-3 servings a day.

Fruits do not have fat in them but fats are not the only thing that make someone fat. Fruits are very high in carbohydrates: mainly different ratios of sugar and fiber. People should limit their intake of sugar but increase their intake of fiber so fruit is perfectly healthy especially considering all the vitamins and minerals that you're body gets out of them naturally and efficiently. But most people should stick to fruit that is high in fiber and/or low in sugar. Citrus, Apples, Melon, Berries. Bananas have a lot of nutrients that we need but also a lot of sugar.

Contrary to "common" opinion, fat foods do not necessarily make a person fat. What makes a person gain weight is consuming more energy than you expend. In other words if the energy in your food is more than the energy used (mainly from physical activity) then there is a weight gain. The opposite is true - expending more energy than you consume and you lose weight.
Many fruits (like oranges) are actually high in sugar, and there is no difference in terms of energy between that contained in sugar and that contained in fat. In fact it is easier for the body to convert sugar to body fat than the fat in food.
Another note of caution - if exercise a lot to lose weight, you may actually gain weight. This is because you lose fat but gain muscle which is heavier. So body weight is not a good indication on whether you should lose weight. You need to do a body-fat analysis which measures the percentage of fat in the body.
Also remember that carbo-hydrates (like potato, wheats, etc.) are actually sugars after the body breaks them down.

Yes some fruits can add weight. High Glycemic index fruits are the worst for weight gain. Low glycemic on the other hand are good for you. Fruits don't contain fat.

Fructose (or levulose) is a simple sugar (monosaccharide) found in many foods and one of the three most important blood sugars along with glucose and galactose. Honey; tree fruits; berries; melons; and some root vegetables, such as beets, sweet potatoes, parsnips and onions, contain fructose, usually in combination with sucrose and glucose. Fructose is also derived from the digestion of sucrose, a disaccharide consisting of glucose and fructose that is broken down by enzymes during digestion. Fructose is the sweetest naturally occurring sugar, estimated to be twice as sweet as sucrose.
Fructose has been hypothesized to cause obesity, elevated LDL cholesterol and triglycerides, leading to metabolic syndrome. Unlike animal experiments, some human experiments have failed to show a correlation between fructose consumption and obesity. Short term tests, lack of dietary control, and lack of a non-fructose consuming control group are all confounding factors in human experiments. However, there are now a number of reports showing correlation of fructose consumption to obesity, especially central obesity which is generally regarded as the most dangerous type. Fructose also chelates minerals in the blood. This effect is especially important with micronutrients such as copper, chromium and zinc. Since these solutes are normally present in small quantities, chelation of small numbers of ions may lead to deficiency diseases, immune system impairment and even insulin resistance, a component of type II diabetes (Higdon).

No. Fruits help you lose weight by helping in the elimination process & making you feel satiated. Best time to eat fruits is in the morning till about mid day. Fruits are better eaten in isolation & not before or after meals.Bananas & Mangoes are calorific. I lost weight after introducing fruits to my diet.

None that I know of. But sugar even in a natural state can turn into fat. Moderation and portion control....There is too much of a good thing.....make wise food choices and watch the amount of what you eat and try to keep a balanced diet....you will be just fine fuit is excellent!

google calorie counter and you will see all foods and what the calorie and fat content is for all of them. I don't think any fruits have fat. Lots of calories sometimes, but no fat.
