Its obvious from airnow website and studies that some people constantly get more pollution then others. I asked pharmacies in those areas to compare the amount of asthma meds and true to form those people in those states suffer more and have to pay for their meds to boot. What is being done to protect people, families and kids who are living in conditions that more and more studies say produces more illness and shorter life span? To me its horribly unfair . When tv weather says beautiful day but airnow website say warning level air how am I suppose to exercise and its happening so often and yes when it does get bad my body can't respond , and my lungs constrict. I fe I know which one to believe but what about others who are not online and don't know? What am I suppose to do to counter my asthma? What if other people are getting sick besides asthma at a faster rate? What if I can't afford to move. I feel like I am in hell and trying for the life of me to warn people how important this i

In Dr. Batmanheldi's book, "Your not sick, your thirsty. Your body's many cries for water", the Dr. says asthma is an effect of dehydration. Our brains are about 80% water and our body is about 70%. The brain takes first priority over water consumption and when dehydrated, many symptoms can occur. Water drawn from sponges in the joints is arthritis. When our cells form a waxy substance around them to conserve water, that is cholesterol. When water is drawn upon from the postules in the lungs that help us breath due to dehydration, our lungs close up to conserve that water and we call it asthma.

Water transports nutrients and oxygen into our cells and carries the waste, toxins out. More pollution, drink more water.

Try drinking half your body weight in ounces of water daily to reduce your need for medications. Ex: 150 pounds = 75 ounces.

I agree with you...it's crappy that nothing's being done. Ironically the most toxic air in a building in the US can be found in the EPA building in DC. How can we expect them to clean the air in the NE or anywhere if they can't figure out how to change the air filters in their own air conditioners and heating ducts?!
